PACE OF SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN ANNOUNCES MICHAEL ZDRODOWSKI AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

November 15, 2024 - St. Joseph, Michigan - PACE of Southwest Michigan is pleased to announce that Michael Zdrodowski has joined PACE as Executive Director. Zdrodowski brings 30 years of experience in healthcare to the position, including 20 years with community-based organizations.

“I am pleased to join PACE of Southwest Michigan, it is exciting to find a mission-purposed organization providing care and helping people to live independently in their homes,” Zdrodowski says. “I was challenged to find this type of partner as my family faced the difficult decisions connected with aging, so I recognize the invaluable services available through PACE. I look forward to being a part of the team and helping to serve more people in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties.” 

Zdrodowski has held leadership positions in physician groups and hospitals, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations and Ambulatory Services at Munson Healthcare Cadillac in Cadillac, Michigan. Zdrodowski holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University.

“Mike has a proven track record of developing and overseeing the implementation of strategic and tactical plans focused on ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and efficient, effective operations,” says Melinda Gruber, Chair of the PACE of Southwest Michigan Board of Directors. “We are confident that his expertise and dedication to serving the community will be invaluable as we continue to strive for excellence in our services.”

PACE, which stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, is a unique option for older adults who wish to remain in their homes as they age. PACE provides and coordinates their medical and therapeutic care, including in-home assistance, medications, and transportation to medical appointments. Nationally, 180 PACE organizations operate over 300 centers in 33 states and the District of Columbia, serving over 79,000 participants. PACE of Southwest Michigan opened in September 2012 and currently serves 248 participants across Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties. PACE of Southwest Michigan plans to open a second center in Niles in 2025.
